[INTRODUCTION]

This Privacy Policy describes how Generate-Random.org ("we", "us", "our") handles (or rather, doesn't handle) your personal information when you use our random data generation tools.

Our privacy philosophy is simple: if we don't collect it, we can't lose it, sell it, or misuse it. This policy explains what that means in practice.

[WHAT WE DON'T COLLECT]

We take privacy seriously by simply not collecting anything. Here's what we DON'T collect:

No Personal Information
We don't collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal identifiers.
No Generated Data
Passwords, numbers, UUIDs, or any data you generate is NOT stored on our servers or in any database.
No Usage Analytics
We don't use Google Analytics, tracking pixels, or any analytics services.
No IP Address Logging
We don't log or store your IP address for tracking purposes.
No Cookies (Mostly)
We use only essential session cookies required for basic functionality. No tracking cookies.
No User Accounts
No registration, no login, no user profiles, no password storage.
No Third-Party Tracking
No Facebook Pixel, no advertising trackers, no social media widgets.

[NO DATABASE = NO DATA STORAGE]

This is important: we don't have a database.

When you generate random data on our platform:

1. Your browser sends a request to our server
2. Our server generates random data using CSPRNG
3. The data is sent back to your browser
4. The server immediately forgets everything

There is literally nowhere for us to store your data. No database tables, no log files, no backups. Once you close your browser, the data exists only on your device.

[TECHNICAL INFORMATION WE PROCESS]

For the website to function, some technical information is temporarily processed:

Session Cookies:
Essential cookies to maintain your session and prevent abuse (e.g., rate limiting). These are temporary and deleted when you close your browser.
Server Logs (Minimal):
Standard web server logs (IP, timestamp, requested URL) may be kept briefly for security and debugging purposes, then automatically deleted. These are NOT analyzed or used for tracking.
HTTPS/TLS:
All connections are encrypted. Your ISP or network administrators can see that you're visiting generate-random.org, but not what you're generating.

[API USAGE]

If you use our API programmatically:

We don't log API requests or responses
No API keys are required (so no API key tracking)
Rate limiting is done in-memory, not persistent storage
Generated data is never stored

[YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR/CCPA COMPLIANCE)]

Since we don't collect any personal data, most data protection rights are moot. However, for completeness:

Right to Access: We have no data to provide
Right to Deletion: There's nothing to delete
Right to Portability: We have no data to transfer
Right to Object: We're not processing your data
Right to Opt-Out: There's nothing to opt out from

You're fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations simply by using our service—because we don't collect anything.

[EXTERNAL LINKS]

Our website may contain links to external resources or documentation. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites. Please review their privacy policies separately.

[CHILDREN'S PRIVACY]

Since we collect no personal information from anyone, our service is safe for all ages. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or anyone else).

[CHANGES TO THIS POLICY]

If we ever change our privacy practices (which is unlikely given our "collect nothing" philosophy), we will update this page with a new "Last Updated" date.

Major changes would be announced on the homepage. However, our core principle will always remain: minimal data collection, maximum privacy.
